Why I built Hai Helper.
I'm Sam Fairbairn. I'm a neurological physiotherapist, and I'm the founder of Hai Helper.
Before any of this was a platform, I worked in clinics and numerous places in between. Watching how people got around, establishing better movement patterns and becoming part of their lives. I love it. I also watched the things quietly holding them back. Sometimes it wasn't their ability or was rarely their effort. It was their daily stressors. Whether their funding was right, whether they could afford travel, whether they could get the supports I, and every other therapist, recommended for them. Funding they couldn't read. Budgets they were scared to touch in case they got it wrong. Support they were entitled to but never used. Or periods of no support as they inadvertently ran out, because no one had the time to sit down and make it make sense.
That never sat right with me. These are people's lives, and we were asking them to navigate one of the most complex systems in the country with varied sources of truth.
So I built the tool I wished my clients had. Hai Helper takes the plan you already have and helps it make sense. Good tools amplify the person's own decision making.
We're independent and participant-side by design.
