The Extension forms part of the Platform where the context permits.
The following Platform terms of use (Terms of Use) govern your access to and use of this Platform and Extension and the products and services available through this Platform and Extension (Goods and Services).

- Amendments will be effective immediately. Where practicable we will endeavour to notify you of the Amendments to the Terms of Use.
- Your continued use of the Platform following any such Amendment will represent an agreement by you to be bound by the Amendments to the Terms of Use.
- We suggest you check the Terms of Use regularly to ensure you are aware of the most up to date terms.
2. Platform usage and Client Data
- Access to the Platform is provided by a web browser on a temporary and limited basis for the purpose of browsing and interacting with the Platform.
- We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Platform and any Good or Services listed on the Platform without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason this Platform is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts or all of this Platform.
- AI output may contain errors or omissions, and you must review and evaluate it for accuracy, completeness and appropriateness before relying on it.
- You acknowledge that the AI output should not be relied upon for making medical, financial, legal or other important decisions about any person without appropriate professional advice, and you agree to seek such professional advice before making any such decisions.
-
At the time you register to use the Platform you may be required to provide Client Data, namely:
- Your name, valid email address, or valid phone number;
- Billing, subscription or payment-related information required to establish and administer your subscription, with payment details processed by Stripe or the applicable third-party payment provider and without us storing your full payment card details;
- Any other information required to complete the registration process.
- Failure to supply correct Client Data (which includes, but is not limited to, information set out in clause 2(e), Personal Information and Sensitive Information (each as defined in the Privacy Policy), information and documents uploaded to the Platform, and information generated through your interactions with the Platform’s AI functionality) may result in us cancelling your registration.
- You agree to update your Client Data if there are any changes to ensure that it is current and accurate at all times. You agree to update us to the extent you become aware of any such changes in relation to your account.
- You permit us to use the Client Data to provide, operate, secure and improve the functionality of the Platform, including its AI assisted features. We do not use identifiable Personal Information to train third-party AI models. Personal Information used to generate AI responses is processed within Australia by our AI provider (Amazon Bedrock), consistent with our Privacy Policy. We may use de-identified or aggregated data to improve the Platform. We only share Client Data with the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, under contract and for the purpose of operating the Platform.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login and account information (including the password). We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

If you provide Client Data about another person, you warrant that you have all authority and consents required to provide that Client Data to us for use in accordance with these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
3. Goods and Services and features
- This Platform provides AI-driven assistance, budget and spend tracking, document and invoice storage, OCR and automated data extraction from uploaded NDIS plans, invoices and receipts, and educational and administrative tools to support NDIS participants, particularly self-managing participants and people acting for them. While we aim to help users administer their NDIS plans and make informed decisions about their care and funding, the Platform does not determine whether any support or expense is NDIS-funded or claimable, does not take over a participant’s NDIS responsibilities, and is not a substitute for professional advice.
-
The Browser Extension is available to assist you in completing online forms on third-party websites you already access in your own browser, including the participant portals operated by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
- The Extension is an assistive tool. Its purpose is to help you place information you have already provided to, or generated within, Hai Helper into the matching fields of a form you are viewing, through a manual copy and paste process. It is designed to reduce administrative effort and cognitive load and to support accessibility for people who find repetitive manual data entry difficult.
- You stay in control. The Extension assists you to prepare or transfer claim information, but does not log in to an NDIA portal for you, collect your PRODA or my NDIS login credentials, submit, lodge, send or process any form or claim, or carry out the functions of any third-party website. You review the information, check and submit any form or claim yourself, and acknowledge that we do not guarantee that any claim will be accepted.
- You are responsible for reviewing all information, including information extracted automatically from uploaded documents using optical character recognition (OCR), before you rely on or submit it and for making sure it is accurate and complete, as automated extraction may contain errors or omissions. The disclaimers in clauses 2(c) and 2(d) apply to information the Extension helps you enter.
- The Extension works only when you choose to turn it on. You can remove or disable it at any time through your browser.
- The Platform is built to assist NDIS participants purely and may provide source references as part of the generative AI chat functionality; however, you must review the underlying information, and a source reference does not guarantee that an AI-generated response is accurate, complete or appropriate.
- We reserve the right to modify the Platform and the Goods and Services at any time at our sole discretion. We may update you upon making any such changes.
- We will endeavour to ensure that the Platform will always be available; however, we do not guarantee this.
-
The Platform may not be available during any or all of the following times:
- During maintenance events or due to agreed emergency maintenance;
- Due to problems that occur due to your telecom or internet service providers or connection. We accept no liability for any loss or damage that occurs as a result of your telecom or internet service provider;
- Due to anything or event affecting the availability of any third-party foundational models; and
- Due to action or inaction of you.
4. Fees and payment
- By accepting the Terms and Conditions you authorise us or any third-party service provider to debit your account at the relevant financial institution connected with the payment details identified and provided in your Client Data for payment of all fees and charges (Fees).
- By accepting the Terms and Conditions you agree that we are authorised to process payment for the Fees.
- You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient cleared funds or financial capacity in the nominated account to honour the transaction when it falls due.
- We must not be held responsible for any fees and charges imposed by your financial institution or any other third party that may be incurred if there are insufficient funds in your account or if the payment fails.
- You are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing and contact information to us, and we must not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by you providing incomplete billing information.
- You must reimburse us for any reasonable out of pocket expenses that we incur in providing the Service and that we expressly disclose to you and you agree to in advance.
- Termination will not affect any of our accrued rights or your accrued liabilities as at the time of termination. For the avoidance of doubt, you are liable to pay all outstanding fees and charges that have accrued as at termination, including the Fees.
- The Platform is offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing is AUD $25 per month, $68 per quarter or AUD $250 per year (inclusive of GST). We will notify you of any change to Fees before it takes effect.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your nominated payment method, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Except where required by the Australian Consumer Law, Fees paid are non-refundable and we do not refund partial billing periods. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Linked Sites and third-party platforms
- This Platform may contain links to other websites (Linked Sites), which are not operated by the Platform Owner.
- The Platform Owner has no control over the Linked Sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of the Linked Sites.

- Your access to and use of any third-party website or portal, including the NDIA’s portals, is governed by that website’s own terms and conditions. You are responsible for reading and following those terms. Hai Helper platform is not intended to change or avoid any obligation you owe to the operator of a third-party website.
